AI Infra Summit | September 16, 2026 We attended the CPO summit in correlation with AI Infra summit this week which hosted guest speakers from Pat Gelsinger, and panel hosts from Lumentum, Broadcom, Mediatek, Upscale, Meta, and AMD. The discussion reinforced our view that optical adoption will depend on manufacturing and operating economics. Bandwidth and power savings create the incentive, but package yield, serviceability, and access to qualified suppliers will determine how quickly customers deploy co-packaged optics.
